Juanito had been missing
Dolores del Grito,

after ten months
harvesting the moons of Jupiter

he was ready
to head back home to Mars.

His space freighter, La Rosa de Tejas,
was full to the brim

with purple methane
and rock ice.

The processing plants on Mars
would process the raw materials

and ship them back to earth,
to the gringo world,

where only pure-bred white people
