I would like freedom from Iraq
says the patriotic soldier.
Body bags flow like the Tigris.

I would like freedom from this torture
bestowed upon us Iraquis
by the peace-loving Americans.

But there will be no end to the body bags,
there will be no end to the torture,
no end to the car bombs.

Freedom and democracy have taken on
a new meaning --- the Statue of Liberty
has been moved to Guantanamo.
